Is there anything more classic than black?

From film noir to modern day sassy yet chic LBDs I am fully enamored with the color. Ever since seeing Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Audrey Hepburn’s iconic dress, I was head over heels. The secret to a classic all black ensemble is to stay elegant. Whether that means sleek cigarette pants and a cashmere jumper or a dress, chicness is the name of the game. My favorite variation of all black is definitely a vintage inspired look. I went with a sheer black polka dot shirt, tweed skirt and tights, accessorized with pearls, nude and black t-strap pumps and a red lip. All black, yet oh so feminine, and mixing modern and vintage elements to keep the outfit from feeling like a costume. A romantic look for a fall night in the city where lovers meet and poets dream.
