As a blogger much of my time is spent in cafes and coffee shops, taking advantage of free wi-fi and a sweet treat or two. Given my love of all things delicious & pretty I thought I’d give you babes my list of most Instagramable eateries in Paris!
Lily of the Valley: For tea lovers and all things delightfully feminine, there’s this darling shop near place République. They have a wide selection of teas and will help you find the perfect blend to match your mood or complement your pastry. The carrot cake is beautiful, complemented by the cinnamon & apple of the Los Angeles green tea. Served in charming vintage tea cups, this café provides pretty sipping galore. With a floral canopy strewn across the ceiling, it’s a lovely place for a pause gourmande.
Ob la di: Tiny size, big flavors. This quintessentially hipster coffee shop does amazing toasts, avocado with pomegranate and fig & ricotta are some personal faves. The gorgeous blue tile and quirky décor makes a perfect setting for a latte shot. During the week & early on the weekends is your best bet as it gets full in the blink of an eye. If you’re looking for a small bit, try the chia pot & a hot drink.
Republique of Coffee : From neon signs to pink quesadillas & charcoal lattes, this is the place for a bit of experimentation. With large glass windows it lets in the perfect amount of light for food flat lays. A truly fun café and a good way to satisfy any sudden guacamole cravings. Also did I mention the pink quesadilla?
L’Atelier artisan crêperie : Left bank for this St Germain gem, all crepe lovers rejoice. With savory & sweet options abundant this will satisfy most everyone. Graphic posters with saying like “In crepes we trust” & “God save the crepes” reflect the friendly atmosphere. Black & white tile and wicker chairs make the minimalists dream. If you can snag a place at one of the marble lounge tables, it’s a great place to catch up with friends.
Peonies– Concept café and floral shop, I discovered this delight thanks to Aimee Song of Song of Style’s Instagram. You can construct your own bouquet, buy one already designed or just enjoy the prettiness alongside your meal. This is the place to go for all my fellow matcha lovers, and their pastries match the décor with floral cakes and cookies. A beautiful space for a coffee date or to get those creative juices flowing and the keyboard clacking.
Whether looking for a place to meet with friends, get out of the house to do some work, or just people watch over some delicious food these have been tried & tested by yours truly. After all if you’re going to eat your way through Paris, you must do it in style!
