Avocado Eggs Benedict, floral backdrops, window shopping and strolling through Chelsea in a sundress- could there be a more perfect Sunday in London?
Last week my mother and I had a marvelous girly day. We started at the Ivy Chelsea Garden, which is currently decked out in a riot of yellow and greens from the floral displays of Chelsea Flower & Garden Show. For maximum Instagram points, sip a glass of rosé prosecco on the terrace and snap away with portrait mode. The floral display in collaboration with Jenny Packham is on at The Ivy Chelsea Garden through the end of June.
After perfectly poached eggs (nothing short of sublime in my opinion) we moseyed our way towards Harrods- popping into shops to formalize our strategy for the June sales & oohe\ and ah over pretty wares. Our route took us through Eaton Terrace where we played House Hunters International, complete with a mini photo-shoot at a particularly lovely white Georgian house that had window boxes matching my floral sundress from Mango.
A pretty sundress, cute trainers & sunnies are my favorite summer weekend look. Not to mention its midi length, A-line cut and button down front were super flattering and food baby friendly. Not ashamed to be an outfit repeater because when a dress suits this well, it would be silly not to wear it to your heart’s content. May your brunches be bottomless and your dresses both pretty & comfy.
