Starting the Holiday Season with Sarah Flint- A Visit to the Georgetown Pop Up Store

I’ve always loved a beautiful window display and none more so during the holidays, when the store fronts turn into tiny jewel boxes. Golden lights beckoning you inside to escape the cold and sample their wares. I also adore this time of year as few things make me happier than stumbling across the perfect gift.

Last year I was the delivery queen, constantly refreshing the tracking number and nearly trying to sleuth out where exactly my packages were by dressing like an old timey detective, trench coat, newspaper, giant sunglasses and all. This season, with life turned into a half normal, half through the looking glass mirage, I’m looking forward to popping back into boutiques. Cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks dressed in their festive best, with pine hanging from the lampposts as I hunt for presents. We might still be erring on the side of holiday pajama party rather than a full Christmas party circuit, but thanks to vaccinations, we can at least have a festive dinner or two with friends and family.

Wearing the Sarah Flint Perfect Block Sandal 60 in Sand

A little velvet dress, a sparkly top, a red lip- but if there’s anything the fairytales taught us, it’s to never underestimate the power of an excellent pair of shoes! And my fellow Washingtonians we’re in luck, Sarah Flint has brought their classic designs and built in arch support to Georgetown for all our holiday needs! I had the chance to explore the pop-up shop back when they opened in September, and it was that exact beautiful treasure trove of a store that I love. In addition to luxury women’s shoes, Sarah Flint has also debuted their exquisite silk scarves, hair accessories, stationary and the latest addition: truly dreamy homeware. In classic style, while you shop, you can sip on champagne and much on chocolate chip cookies. If you’re looking for a lovely shopping day with your mother, sisters or friends, I highly recommend stopping by. I currently have my eyes on the tortoiseshell Emma Sling which is vintage loveliness and the glitz and glamour of the gunmetal lame Perfect Pump 85s. You honestly can’t go wrong with any of their classic investment styles; I love knowing that their pumps, boots, and ballets flats will remain comfy and chic for years to come. And if you need an outfit idea may I just say you can’t go wrong with a little red dress.

This is also a season of giving back, and through the end of the weekend, Sarah Flint is supporting the local Washington community by donating 10% of sales proceeds to the Fund for Every Child at Children’s National Hospital when you use code DRBEAR at checkout. Happy thanksgiving and happy shopping!
